Ensure Source, AC-MX-42X, and Display are powered on.
Accessing the Web GUI
The AC-MX-42X unit comes in DHCP by default. To find the IPv4 Address Assigned to the unit, Press and Hold OUT 2 and SCALER SET buttons for 5 seconds.
The IPv4 Address will be presented on the OLED screen.
From here type the IPv4 Address into your favorite browsers address bar.
Navigating the Web UI
Select the Tabs Button in the top left of the screen.
Select the I/O Config Tab
Once in the I/O Config Tab select the desired Inputs EDID Dropdown Tab.
Select USER1 EDID
In the HDMI Dropdown select the Desired Output to copy from. Ensure the display is connected and that any Deep Color or Enhanced Formats have been turned on.
Then select the Copy Button to save the EDID of the Display into the HDMI Input.
Ending Notes
Some Source devices may require a power cycle upon the dynamic EDID change. Some Source devices may require additional manual settings, not automatically enabled by the selection of an EDID.
