Advancements in Audio Downmixing

Converting a multichannel audio signal into a 2-channel signal is a must for most multizone Audio/Video installations. With the advancements in bitstream audio by Dolby Audio™ and DTS® (Dolby 7.1, Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD, DTS-X, etc.) downmixing has not been available for higher end formats. Therefore, most integrators will set up sources to output a signal that is easier to manage such as a 5.1 channel signal. Unfortunately, this means you are not delivering the highest quality audio signal to your customer.

AVPro Edge has worked tirelessly with Dolby and DTS to create a solution to this problem. In this webinar you will learn exactly how, when, and why to downmix and manage the highest quality audio signals.
