AC-MXNET-1G-D ~ (DECODER) V4.xx

AC-MXNET-1G-D ~ (V1 DECODER) ~ V4.25 & V4.30~ 04/5/24

Notice: Please update the CBOX first before attempting an update on any endpoints. AC-MXNET-1G-D firmware V4.28/V4.25 Requires CBOX firmware V2.55 or CBOX-B firmware V4.09 or later, in order for RS-232 communication to function properly.

NOTE: If your decoder is on V4.21 or below, use firmware version V4.25. If your decoder is on V4.22 or above (besides V4.25), use firmware version V4.30.

Release Notes:
V4.30 (for AC-MXNET-1G-D V4.XX model name units)
  1. Changed HDCP default value from option 0 to option 3 (HDCP 1.4), as the CBOX no longer recognizes HDCP option zero, which resulted in a greyed out HDCP option in the "CONFIGURE" page.
V4.28 (for AC-MXNET-1G-D V4.XX model name units)
  1. Added internal API commands to adjust the audio mute time when the audio format changes on an endpoint.
  2. Fixed an issue where MCU commands could bleed out of the RS-232 port of an endpoint.
  3. Further optimizations for RS-232 input/output.
V4.25 (for AC-MXNET-1G-R V4.XX model name units)
  1. Fixed an issue where MCU commands could bleed out of the RS-232 port of an endpoint.
  2. Further optimizations for RS-232 input/output.
  3. Added internal API commands to adjust the audio mute time when the audio format changes on an endpoint.
V4.22
  1. Changed internal model name from AC-MXNET-1G-R to AC-MXNET-1G-D
  2. NOTE: Because of the different internal model name, V1 Decoders on firmware V4.21 cannot be updated to V4.22 via the CBOX. This firmware contains the same updates as V4.21, and is not a required update.

V4.21
  1. Fixed an issue where hexadecimal RS232 code strings would add additional characters downstream, as well as feedback.
  2. Fixed an issue where changing between audio formats on a source, such as PCM 2ch to DD 5.1, would cause a brief "popping" noise.
  3. Fixed an issue where the decoder was responding to CEC queries as a CEC opcode of 5, resulting in certain displays recognizing the decoder as an ARC compatible device.

V3.32 and 4.18
      • Fixed various bugs
      • Restricted data output on RS232 port so that only feedbacks from a connected RS232 device are allowed.

V3.30 and 4.17
  1. Fixed various bugs
  2. Added support for bi-directional RS232
  3. Added the ability to generate solid black pattern

V3.25 and 4.15
  1. Proactively send updated information to CBOX through MCU when video changing
  2. Proactively send updated information to CBOX through MCU when SS Name changing

V3.23 and 4.12
  1. Fixed the bug that 1080i was displayed to 3840*1080
  2. Fixed audio glitch sound issue when switching SD 2-channel to HD 6-channel. (Cable Boxes)

V3.22
  1. Improved the HDR information display
  2. Added Color Space information

V3.20
  1. Enables HDMI Hotplug Reset Ability in MXNet Mentor Diagnostics

V3.13
  1. Added security layer / authentication for Encoders and Decoders
