AC-MX-42X with Xbox Series X, no vrr, atmos
Hi, received the device today. TV is a Samsung year 2020 q80t model with one hdmi 2.1 port on hdmi 4. i have a ps5 that i believe is working as should, 4k/60, hdr. I also have a pc with a rtx 3090 graphics card that is also maxing out what it should, once i change the input to 'FRL10G_8K, i can get vrr/freesync, 4k/120, hdr, and atmos. The issue is arising with the xbox series x, i can get the 4k/120 and hdr once i switch input to the 'FRL10G_8k', but when in game mode on the tv which should activate input lag and vrr options within the xbox os, they remain grayed out. additionally, atmos is not supported as well. i've played around with various settings, haven't come across any settings changes that can enable these options. I've tried removing all other inputs while i experiment to no luck, ive tried switching between matrix and da modes as well. Is this something that is replicable on your end? any FW updates on horizon that could potentially help out? just looking for guidance and to establish some tech support moving forward on the issue.
obviously, bypassing the matrix box doesn't produce these issues, everything is selectable.
